I think that most of the people have the dilemma about when should they exercise in order to get the best results out of their workout. Is the morning exercising the best? Or maybe exercising sometime later in the afternoon is more beneficial? Well, that all depends on you. Exercising any time of the day is almost as equally beneficial, so it all depends on you schedule and preferences.</p>

<p><strong>Afternoon exercise</strong> is proven to be safer and more beneficial in terms of injuries, and fat burn. In the afternoon muscles are warmer and energy levels are much higher so you can have a good hard workout and burn a lot of fat. You see, by afternoon, our body reached its normal temperature and muscles are ready for exercising, so if the exercises are done correctly there is no risk of injuries. Afternoon workout is also ideal as a stress relief. Most people do have a lot of stress in their job so after they feel the need to have some of their favorite sweets or foods. However, an afternoon workout routine can help to release the accumulated stress. One of the main disadvantages of exercising in this time is the fact that this time is the most convenient for everybody so gyms are packed. So, if you prefer a bicycle or a treadmill, you may have to wait for your turn.</p>

I don’t blame them, though, because every time I open the magazine I can read a plan for at least one new diet that promises amazing results in just 2 weeks or less. Getting a perfect body in such a short time may sound ideal, so ideal that you are ready to give up everything in that time just to achieve what you want. The sad truth is, however, that no real progress can be made with such a drastic move. The scale usually shows some progress, but it’s not as nearly as the promised one, and the results last very short. I know many people get really disappointed after that, but never stopped trying out new diets hoping that they will work.</p>
<p>You see, with <strong>fast diets</strong> you have to drastically lower your calories intake. That means you basically eat fruits and vegetables while fats, carbohydrates and proteins are either totally restricted or their intake is limited to a very small amount. Eating like this can make you lose a few pounds but in long term it does nothing good. Carbohydrates and proteins are main energy sources and without them you will feel tired and weak. Drastic reduction of calories intake can trick the body and make it quickly lose a few pounds, but then the defense mechanism is activated. You see, the body protect itself from a major weight loss by depositing all calories it can so when you change your eating habits so drastically, your metabolism slows down and your body is trying to keep the little calories it receives. At this point you don’t really lose any weight- just water and muscles. These diets are very low in nutrients so maintaining this eating plan can seriously endanger your health and looks.</p>
<p>The best thing you can get out of this is to look a little bit slimmer for a celebration and get your outfit to fit you better. But since the results last very short, petty soon you will be right back where you started. For longer lasting results eating habits should be changed slowly along with the lifestyle. Healthy diet should include balanced meals with vitamins, good fats, carbohydrates and proteins. Off course, if you just follow the diet and don’t exercise at all you will probably have a lot of sagging skin. That’s why exercise must become a part of your <strong>daily activities</strong>.</p>

Find your pictures from the period when you looked great and visualize yourself being like that again. Every time when you think about giving up, look at them and you will feel better and more focused. As far as the food goes, the meals are smaller but frequent so you eat six times per day. Eat fish, non fat meat, egg whites, fruits and vegetables- all six meals must not have more than 1200 calories all together. First two meals should contain a lot of proteins, for second two meals non fat meat or fish are perfect, while the last two meals should be vegetables.</p>
<p>Remember you should not drink soft drinks, fruit juices, or alcohol during this period. Also avoid ketchup, barbecue sauces, basically all sauce- like things. These products contain a lot of sugar and calories so you must forget them. It may sound cruel but it’s worth it.</p>
<p>Off course, all this wouldn’t mean so much without proper exercise. Cardio training must be done everyday for 45 minutes and women should do exercises with their own weight 3-4 times a week, while men should lift additional weight. Exercise different muscle groups every time so if you did upper body one day, next day do exercises for the lower body. On the third and fourth day you can repeat the whole process again or focus on individual muscle groups like abs or legs. Don’t go to the gym with a full stomach; allow your body at least one hour to digest the meal.</p>
<p>Second phase is maintenance of your new, perfect body. When you achieve the result you can’t go back to your previous lifestyle. You can let yourself have a treat, favorite sweet or a drink once in a while, but don’t overdo it. In the maintenance phase you should keep the similar eating and exercising regime but the calories intake should be increased to 2000 calories per day.</p>

The most famous type of anaerobic training is weight lifting but there are also other types of anaerobic exercises like 50-200 meters sprints, under 100 meters swimming trainings etc. Anaerobic training requires a longer warm-up than an aerobic training because muscles are more forced. The other difference between them are pauses to rest between exercises. In aerobic training there are no breaks or they are very short, and even then you have to jog or slow walk. In anaerobic training, however, the exercise time is very short- from 30 seconds to 2 minutes, and the resting period between two exercises is double in time. This way muscles are allowed to rest a little bit but not completely. Anaerobic trainings are often practiced by professional athletes as a form of preparation for some big contests or events. These exercises help them increase their muscle mass  and have more power. Repetition of short but extremely hard exercises burns the lactic acid that is build up in the muscles.</p>
<p>When it comes to weight loss, aerobic training was given the advantage because it was strongly believed that it can burn more calories than anaerobic training.
